Privacy policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This policy explains what personal data is collected on frankcuriel.com, what it is used for and what rights you have. I've written it in plain language and it describes only what this website actually does.
1. Who is responsible
Frank Curiel, independent web developer, is responsible for the data processed on this site. For any privacy-related question or request, write to my contact email.
2. What data I collect and why
Contact form
- Data: name, email, subject and message you write. For security and spam prevention, the IP address, browser type and date of submission are also recorded.
- Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal.
- Legal basis: your request (pre-contractual steps) and my legitimate interest in protecting the form against abuse.
- The message is not stored in a database: it is sent by email to my professional mailbox.
If you click a WhatsApp button, you leave this website and the conversation takes place on WhatsApp (Meta), under its own privacy policy. I will receive your phone number and the messages you send me, which I use only to reply to you.
Usage statistics
I use Google Analytics 4 to find out, in aggregate, how many people visit the site, which pages they view, from which country and type of device, and how they arrived. I don't use this information to identify you and I don't use it for advertising. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. See section 3 for how consent works.
Server logs
Like any website, the hosting provider automatically records technical data (IP address, date and requested page) to keep the service secure and running.

- In the rest of the world, they are active by default and you can reject them at any time.
You can change your choice whenever you like with (also available in the footer). You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.
4. Who I share data with
I don't sell or give away your data. It is only processed by the providers needed to run the site:
- Hosting and email provider: hosts the website and the mailbox where messages arrive.
- Google (Analytics): usage statistics.
- Meta (WhatsApp): only if you decide to write to me through WhatsApp.
Google and Meta may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards for international transfers (such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
5. How long I keep data
- Contact messages: for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting professional relationship. If no relationship follows, I delete them within a maximum of 2 years, or earlier if you ask me to.
- Statistics: according to the Google Analytics retention setting (maximum 14 months).
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to my contact email and I will reply within 30 days at the latest. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
7. Security
The site works exclusively over HTTPS (encrypted connection), the form has several layers of anti-spam protection, and access to the systems is restricted to me.
8. Minors
This site is aimed at professionals and businesses. I do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
